Welcome to our FAQ section! Here you'll find answers to commonly asked questions about our online courses for horse owners around the world. If you have more questions, feel free to reach out to us and we'll be happy to help!

  • Who are the courses for?
    Our courses are for normal every day horse owners, who want to learn about hooves and hoof care. We cater for all levels, and you don't need to have any prior knowledge about hooves in order to join our courses. Our courses are NOT meant to teach you how to trim hooves in a professional capacity, but we do not know that many of our students have gone on to study more and have become professional barefoot trimmers after completing our courses.
  • Do I need to have prior hoof care knowledge?
    Not at all. We start from the very beginning, and teach you all you need to know about hooves and hoof care. And everything is explained in simple layman's terms, so that it's easy to understand and follow.
  • Are the courses easy to understand?
    Yes, we create all our courses so that they are easy to follow and learn from. Our goal is to explain everything in simple layman's terms, and always explain the WHAT, WHY and HOW thoroughly. WHAT we are showing and teaching you. WHY we showing and teaching you those things. HOW you can apply what you have learnt, to your own horse's hoof care.
  • How do I pay for the course?
    You can purchase the courses from our website. Some courses are part of a payment plan, others are only available to purchase with a one-off payment. Courses are paid for with a credit or debit card at the time of purchase.
  • Can I get a refund on my purchase?
    Once you have started your course, we are not able to give a refund for any of our courses.
  • Can I buy a course as a gift?
    Yes, we are happy to help you with this! Please email us on info@hoofschool.com, and we can give you more information about how to purchase a course as a gift.
