MINNA SARKKINEN

When I first became interested in hoof care, I was determined to help my horse. But, reliable information was hard to come by, and I didn’t know where to start. I just wanted to understand what was really going on inside my horse’s hooves; what was causing the long toes, thin soles and weak hoof walls, and how to make the hooves better. That frustration drove me to study, learn and eventually, trim hooves professionally - a journey I'm still on, 15 years later.

The real turning point came when I discovered the difference a more frequent trim makes. I started to trim my own horses weekly, and showed my clients how they could do a small maintenance trim between my visits. And the results were phenomenal!  Horses on a weekly trim cycle started to improve at a rate I had never seen before, and the persistent, chronic problems like flares, cracks and underrun heels went away - for good!

That’s why I created this course; I want to give horse owners everywhere the tools that transform hooves. My goal is to teach you how to rasp the toes, hoof wall and heels, so that your horse's hooves can finally become as healthy as you want them to be.
